The first day of my 30s...

Well, here it is, my first day being 30. What shall I do? Well, here is what I did so far: at 6am my alarm went off. and again at 6:09. and again at 6:18. This is not the typical start time for my day, although many swats at the snooze bar are routine. I showered and dressed and headed off to Moultonboro Academy for See You At the Pole, which is always the last Wednesday of September, for a student led prayer time around the school's flagpole. I am proud of my students for being brave enough to stand up for their faith even as kids were walking into the school right past them. I left the school around 7:15 and tried to get lost in M'boro on my way home. Tried and failed, although I got to see Mary Keyser's house and some beautiful farms on Red Hill. K-Ann and I brought Daniel to school after I got home and then I came to work. Now all I have to do is get ready for Middle School Youth Group tonight as well as prep for High School Youth Group tomorrow night. I might have a basketball game tonight too but I'll have to check the schedule. That's it so far. being 30 is kind of boring...

I am not a fun person...

I am not a fun person to be around, can't you tell?
This picture is another fine reason that I don't like taking my shirt off in public.
